Young people connected to Góis can vote on four local projects from Tuesday
Online voting in the Góis Youth Participatory Budget runs from 1 to 30 September. Eligibility extends beyond residents to qualifying people who were born, work or study in the municipality.
Eligible 16- to 35-year-olds have a direct, time-limited way to influence how a €30,000 municipal allocation is used.

- The four projects concern cycling, multimedia equipment, the Fonte Velha area and a pump track in Baião.
- The Youth Participatory Budget has a total allocation of €30,000, so the presence of four costed proposals does not mean all four will be funded.
The four choices on the ballot
The eligible projects are Pedalar Góis, a multimedia equipment kit, rehabilitation of the Fonte Velha area and a pump track in Baião. Published estimates for the individual proposals are close to the programme's €30,000 ceiling.
The vote is an individual civic process. A person cannot vote on behalf of an organisation or group, and the municipal platform applies its own registration and validation rules.
Check that you qualify before voting
The municipality's rules include people aged from 16 through 35 who are from Góis or who live, work or study there. That wider definition is useful to young people who contribute to the municipality without having their permanent home in the town.
Use the official participatory-budget platform to read the final proposal details and vote. If the platform cannot validate your connection to the municipality, contact the programme before the 30 September deadline rather than leaving the problem to the final day.
